This IGCSE Science Edexcel (Double Award) Course will allow you to to acquire scientific knowledge and facts, and an understanding of scientific concepts, principles, themes and patterns. You will also sustain and develop an enjoyment of, and interest in, the scientific world.
The Edexcel International GCSE in Science (Double Award) takes approximately two-thirds of the subject content of each of the Edexcel International GCSEs in single sciences (Biology, Chemistry and Physics), and combines them into an International GCSE in Science (Double Award) worth two GCSEs.
IGCSE Combined Science could lead on to further study in Biology, Chemistry or Physics at A-level or other science-related subjects or more vocationally-related courses.
There are no previous entry requirements for this course, however students are expected to have a reasonable standard of literacy.
You have the freedom to start the course at any time and continue your studies at your own pace for a period of up to 24 months from initial registration with the full support of your Tutor.
The IGCSE Chemistry Online Course has three modules you will need to cover.
Students will be required to arrange and pay for their examinations at an Edexcel approved centre. We can provide an extensive list of these centres for you.
IGCSE Exams
There are three exams for the full IGCSE qualification. The length of each exam is as follows:
Paper 1 – 2 hour
Paper 2 – 2 hour
Paper 3 – 2 hour
