If you want to develop your knowledge of Care Home Management so that you can embark on a rewarding career or maybe you are already working in a related field and want to improve your career prospects, then this is the course for you.

Care Home Managers duties include the running of the care home, organising activities for residents and ensuring families have all the support and information they need.

There are lots of different management levels in care including:

  • first line managers such as service managers or residential unit managers
  • middle managers such as assistant director or department head
  • senior managers such as service director or chief executive.

What can you do with Care Home Management?

With experience of working in a social care or health role, you could progress from a senior care worker to Care Home Manager. You could also progress onto the Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Adult Care.

Previous Knowledge Required

You do not need any prior learning knowledge or experience to take this course. It is openly available to anyone who wishes to take part in a highly rewarding home study course, although you would be expected to have a reasonable standard of literacy.

You have the freedom to start the course at any time and continue your studies at your own pace for a period of up to 12 months from initial registration with the full support of your Tutor.

Assessments

You must successfully complete a series of assessments. Once all assessments and activities have been completed satisfactorily, you will then be awarded your certificate. The good news is, there is no final exam.

Awarding Organisation

At the end of this course successful learners will receive a Certificate of Achievement from the Quality License Scheme and a Learner Unit Summary (which lists the components the learner has completed as part of the course). Learn Now Distance Learning College is a reseller for OSC.
