Counselling is a type of talking therapy, allowing a person to talk about their problems and feelings in an environment that is both confidential and dependable. Counsellors are trained to listen empathetically helping you deal with any negative thoughts and feelings you have.
Psychotherapy allows you to look deeper into your problems and concerns, dealing with troublesome habits and a wide range of mental disorders.
Studying Advanced Counselling and Psychotherapy Level 4, you will develop your communication and interpersonal skills. You will learn how to examine a range of situations; examining the factors that lead to issues, becoming familiar with the models, types of therapy and related theory’s. You will also explore regulations of the profession and how trainees and qualified counsellors will be affected.
ACCPH Approved
This course is approved by the ACCPH (Accredited Counsellors, Coaches, Psychotherapists and Hypnotherapists). At the end of this course, learners will be able to join and become a member of the ACCPH. The ACCPH is an independent self-regulated professional body for counsellors, psychotherapists and hypnotherapists.

You do not need any prior learning knowledge or experience to take this course. It is openly available to anyone who wishes to take part in a highly rewarding home study course, although you would be expected to have a reasonable standard of literacy.
You have the freedom to start the course at any time and continue your studies at your own pace for a period of up to 12 months from initial registration with the full support of your Tutor.

You must successfully complete a series of assessments. Once all assessments and activities have been completed and you have met the required outcomes, you will then be awarded your certificate. The good news is, there is no final exam.
