This IGCSE Business CAIE Course will help you develop an interest in, and enjoyment of, business subjects that will be sustained in later life. You will be able to use relevant terminology, concepts and methods effectively and recognise the strengths and limitations of the ideas used.
Learners find out how the major types of business organisation are established, financed and run, and how their activities are regulated. Factors influencing business decision-making are also considered, as are the essential values of cooperation and interdependence.
The course provides both a foundation for further study at A Level and an ideal preparation for the world of work.
Grades 9-1 are available.
IGCSE Business could lead on to further study in Business at A-level or other science-related subjects or more vocationally-related courses.
Cambridge IGCSEs are accepted by leading Universities and employers around the works as evidence of academic achievement. Many Universities require a combination of AS & A’ Levels and IGCSEs or equivalent to meet their entry requirements.
There are no previous entry requirements for this course, however students are expected to have a reasonable standard of literacy.
You have the freedom to start the course at any time and continue your studies at your own pace for a period of up to 24 months from initial registration with the full support of your Tutor.
The IGCSE Business Online Course has six modules you will need to cover.
Students will be required to arrange and pay for their examinations / practicals at a CAIE approved centre. We can provide an extensive list of these centres for you.
IGCSE Exams
There are two exams for the full IGCSE qualification. The length of each exam is as follows:
Paper 1 – 1 hour 30 min
Paper 2 – 1 hour 30 min
