The Support Work in Schools Level 2 qualification is an introduction to the information and knowledge needed to work in primary, secondary or special schools. It covers the many varied roles that full- and part-time support staff may fulfil including administrative roles, site support roles, technical roles and volunteers, as well as those roles that work directly with children and young people in the school environment.
All those who would like to work in a school support role, this course will cover initial training and induction for those new in the job role.
This Level 2 Support Work in Schools course will lead to a regulated qualification approved by Ofqual demonstrating to employers that you have the necessary skills to work within a school environment. – You will NOT require a work placement for this course as it is aimed at learners not yet employed in a school.

It can apply to the many varied roles that full and part time support staff may fulfil including: administrative roles, site support roles, technical roles and volunteers, as well as roles that work directly with children and young people in the school environment.
You do not need any prior learning knowledge or experience to take this course. It is openly available to anyone who wishes to take part in a highly rewarding home study course, although you would be expected to have a reasonable standard of literacy.
You have the freedom to start the course at any time and continue your studies at your own pace for a period of up to 12 months from initial registration with the full support of your Tutor.
For the Support Work in Schools Level 2 course you will cover the following content:-
You must successfully complete a series of assessments. Once all assessments and activities have been completed and you have met the required outcomes, you will then be awarded your certificate. The good news is, there is no final exam.
At the end of this course successful learners will receive a Certificate of Achievement by Training Qualifications UK (TQUK).
