The Distance Learning Nail Technician Level 3 course has been created to help develop your skills to a high level of occupational ability also enabling you to perform your own salon services. If you carry an artistic flare, and would like job satisfaction, this may well be the course for you.
This course will prepare students to become successful Nail Technicians and offers expert practical and professional guidance based on years of inside industry experience.
You will learn the following:
There are all different routes you can take on completion of this course including:
Work in a salon, at a health spa, on a cruise ship, from home or at a client’s home.
Manage a salon or start your own business.
Work with photographers, fashion designers or TV companies, preparing nails for photo shoots or fashion shows.
You could move into product sales, selling nail equipment and materials to salons and nail bars.
You do not need any prior learning knowledge or experience to take this course. It is openly available to anyone who wishes to take part in a highly rewarding home study course, although you would be expected to have a reasonable standard of literacy.
You have the freedom to start the course at any time and continue your studies at your own pace for a period of up to 12 months from initial registration with the full support of your Tutor.
The syllabus involves 11 modules which are as follows:
You must successfully complete a series of assessments. Once all assessments and activities have been completed and you have met the required outcomes, you will then be awarded your certificate. The good news is, there is no final exam.
At the end of this course successful learners will be awarded a Certificate of Achievement by Abstract Education and a Learner Unit Summary (which lists the details of all of the units you have completed as part of your course).
The Level 3 Nail Technician Course has been benchmarked at a level 3 which would give you some indication as to the difficulty of this course. I.e., GCSE would be equivalent to Level 2 and A’ Level would be equivalent to Level 3.
You will have no other fees to pay with this course. The course enrolment fee includes access to support, course materials, certification and registration with the awarding body.
