Whether you are returning to school, studying for an adult numeracy test, helping your kids with homework, or seeking the confidence that a firm maths foundation provides in everyday encounters, this course, provides the content you need to improve your maths skills.

The Level 2 Maths course covers such topics as: Getting started with the building blocks of maths, dealing with decimals, percentages, tackling fractions without fear and algebra.

FAQs

You can enrol online right now by Card or PayPal (Visa, Mastercard, Maestro and American Express). Alternatively, we also accept BACS transfer or we can send you a payment link.

If we have given you the option of “online” or “paper” at the top of the page next to the enrolment fee, you will be able to choose one or the other.  If no option is available, it means that the course offered is online only.

With our courses, we have learners from all over the world enrolled.  Therefore, if we restricted your learning to certain times, not everyone would be available.  All our courses are accessible 24/7 via our online secure portal.  Any videos on your portal would be pre-recorded meaning you can work through your course at your own pace.

We understand that circumstances change and sometimes things can take a little longer. If you go over the course period then talk to us. We can normally extend your support for a small additional fee.

You will have access to a dedicated personal tutor who will be there to help you through your assignments.

You will have no other fees to pay with this course. The course enrolment fee includes access to support, course materials, certification and registration with the awarding body.

Please feel free to contact us by telephone or email with any further queries.

Still unsure? See below for more information on Maths Level 2

The syllabus for Maths Level 2 is equivalent to GCSE/IGCSE Maths, however, please bear in mind that the GCSE Maths is a qualification registered by Ofqual whereas this Maths Course is a Level 2 Certificate.

If you are looking to progress onto further employment, university, or college, it is best to check the entry requirements.  If they require a GCSE in Maths or equivalent, you would be best taking one of the following courses:

If they are just asking for a Level 2, this course should be fine, however we would always recommend that you check with them first.

You will receive support and access for 12 months; however, we have had learners complete the course as quickly as 1-2 months.

It all depends on your deadline if there is one and the amount of time you have available to allocate to the course.

If you are looking to complete the course as soon as possible, once enrolled, you will have the opportunity to add this to your enrolment form.  This information will be passed over to your tutor so that they can help you as best they can.

On average, you would need to achieve approximately 75% or above on your assignments.  This is not set in stone as your tutor will need to ensure that you have met all the required outcomes to pass the course.

If you submit an assignment where you have not passed, you will have the opportunity to revisit this and correct any errors.  Your tutor will provide feedback at each stage to help you progress through the course and they are also there for you if there is any aspect you do not understand.

It all depends on your preferred learning style.  You will still need to tackle units such as Algebra, Geometry and Pythagoras. All resources will be provided to help you with this.

However, rather than sitting an exam, your course will be based on assignments and sometimes this makes a course more achievable to the learner.

If you are happy sitting one exam for maths but you would rather not cover content such as Algebra, we would highly recommend our Functional Skills Maths Level 2 Course which is equivalent to GCSE Maths, however it is slightly easier to pass.
