What are A Levels?
Advanced Level qualifications are subject-based academic courses which can be studied remotely through distance learning. You will access learning materials and support online through the student portal.
Typically taken by 16–18-year-olds but also available to students of all ages.
The certificate you will receive will be the same as classroom-based certification and you will follow the same specification but in a more relaxed environment.

Are Online A Levels accepted by universities?
Yes they are – AQA, Cambridge and Pearson Edexcel are recognised by universities and are the same qualifications that you would achieve at a traditional school or college.

Can you study online A Levels without studying GCSE?
Some subjects may require previous knowledge, and this will be detailed on the individual subject page.
For most subjects however, you will be able to start them without GCSEs.

Do these courses give UCAS Points?
Yes – they will provide the same amount of UCAS points as traditional Advanced Level qualifications.
Can international students study online A Levels?
Yes – Students who wish to sit their exams outside of the UK, can choose from Cambridge or Pearson Edexcel awarding bodies.
Please note that A Levels awarded by AQA are regulated within the UK by Ofqual.

Are international A Levels harder than UK A Levels?
Both qualifications are equivalent to one another and therefore the subject content has a similar level of difficulty.
Some learners favour International Advanced Levels over UK Advanced Levels due to their assessment route having IAS and IA2.
Will I pass with your college?
If you follow your tutors’ advice and complete all of your assignments including practise examination papers, we are confident that you will pass your exams. You need to be self-motivated and wanting to succeed.
When will I get my results for sitting my exams?
If you are sitting your exams in the June series, you will receive your results in August. For the November series, results will normally be released in January.

Do AS Levels matter?
The AS Level is still a qualification in its own right. You will still receive UCAS points and Universities will accept them.
What can you do after Online A Levels?
You could progress onto University. These qualifications are the most popular qualification studied to apply to University or higher education due to the UCAS points that they offer.
You will be able to meet the entry requirements for most courses with these qualifications including basic English and Maths. In order to find out what is involved in the application process for applying to University, please visit UCAS.
