The NCFE CACHE Level 3 Award in Home Based Childcare prepares students to set up a home based childcare setting. It is also suitable for students who wish to be employed in home based childcare settings as childminding assistants.
The qualification has been developed in collaboration with the Professional Association for Childcare and Early Years (PACEY).

There are no previous entry requirements for this course, however students are expected to have a reasonable standard of literacy.
You have the freedom to start the course at any time and continue your studies at your own pace for a period of up to 24 months from initial registration with the full support of your Tutor.

The only other fee you will need to pay is for your exams which is due approximately six months prior and this will be paid directly to the exam centre.
You must successfully complete a series of assessments. Once all assessments and activities have been completed and you have met the required outcomes, you will then be awarded your certificate. The good news is, there is no final exam.
Once you have successfully completed your assignments and this course, you will receive your NCFE CACHE Level 3 Award in Home Based Childcare – Childminder Route. A certificate will be provided to you as recognition of your achievement.
