If you are the parent or guardian of 14-19 year old you may be confused about the choices available to them when they finish their GCSEs. The final decision is theirs but they may look to you to for help and advice.

There are lots of different directions they could take, but bear in mind if they stay in learning and get qualifications they will earn more money. In fact, they could earn an extra £180,000 in their lifetime.


Which direction could they choose?

They could decide to get a job without qualifications and training. Chances are it won't be well paid and they won't have much of a future. But it's their choice....
